Economy seven
I have been on economy seven for a number of years and have read on here conflicting advice as to how much electric you need to use a night to make it viable. I use my dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, phones and laptops on charge at night and a few other little bits when it goes off at 8 am. in summertime. Well I…

Eon - electricity monitor
Signed up with E-on in november and was promised an energy monitor. Well it is now end of march and no sign of it. Gave them a call and was told they having difficulty getting them(lol) and will credit my account with £40. This will help with my overpriced gas and electricity. Worth a phone call if you were promised one.

E.ON: Question about Direct Debit
Hello all, we've been with EON for a number of years, currently on the fixed price tariff ending next year. All is well, and my DDs this year are spot on in size (£100 pm, dual fuel). Due to a change in circumstances (second home, travel etc) I have calculated that over the next 1 months our dual fuel bill will not even…

Held Hostage By NPOWER
Hi, I've been having problems with Npower since we switched from British Gas in 2005. Unfortunately I have never been able to leave them as I have always owed an outstanding balance. The problems started with Npower undercharging us when the direct debits were set up, leaving us with a bill we could not afford to pay.…

Monitor Electricity
I keep getting large electricity bills and i want to work out what is causing them. I live in a converted mill and all the meters are kept in a room at the other side of the mill so this rules out a wireless energy monitor which clamps onto the meter. Is there any other device i can use to monitor the electricity?

British Gas merging gas/electricity accounts.
Have I missed some publicity on this? Finding conflicting account numbers when I logged on to enter meter readings, I contacted their call centre to be told that they have unilaterally merged my gas and electricity accounts on to the same account number. They also planned to merge the two monthly direct debits into one!…

Hi All, We had solar PV panels installed in September 2011. After the huge initial outlay we are yet to receive ANY money for the electricity we have generated. When I was in Sainsburys' with my Mum today we were stopped by a chap trying to get us to switch to Sainsburys' gas and electricity. After having a quick word with him, it ends up that Sainsburys are just selling on packages direct from British Gas - if…

Electric Meters? HELP
We've been to see a house we like, but its on an electric pre-pay meter. We've always avoided these like the plague, we know someone with one and its murder on money. HOWEVER the estate agent said according to new laws they CANNOT be set on a premium, so they can only ever cost exactly what it would cost if you were paying…
