Money Owed To NPower
Hi I moved into a two bed flat around 16 months ago and agreed to a dual fuel tariff. The actual gas readings were 1810 kWh for 18 days (was in May) and that was the last reading. Npower estimated that I would need to pay £30 a month for Gas via direct debit. So I paid it and never took another meter reading until now (BIG…

EON Fixed Prices
Hi there I'm a bit confused as to what to do. I have been with EON for a few years now and been happy enough, no problems, so far. Meter Reader had skeleton key to house!
Yesterday my partner's mother had a man to read the meter for Southern Electric. Her meter is kept in the basement of her bungalow so she came out to unlock the basement door for him, and he said "It's ok, I can let myself in, I have a key" She was astounded when he produced a key and unlocked the basement door himself. He…

When I purchased my current property in August 2006 it was fitted with a prepayment gas meter which I immediately had replaced with a standard gas meter, for some reason British Gas then failed to send me a quarterly bill or indeed contact me in any way regarding gas until 28th May 2011 - a fact I missed as they were…

Pay as you go gas issues, daily £1.40 charge?
I'm on my phone and having trouble finding any useful information on this issue so I'd be glad of any advice as it's not something I'm at all familiar with. Question about EDF contract
My parents are in the process of changing supplier to EDF, they've gone for the fixed price 2014 deal. Now they've had another chance to mull over the t&c's they've noticed that EDF reserve the right to alter their unit prices or even end the deal - I think it might be clause 12. Is that pretty standard wording on a fixed…

The Hassles of Changing Suppliers
Hi I am absolutely fed up and angry about switching suppliers I vowed a few years ago after the hassles of changing I said wouldn't do it again. Even Martin says its hassle free and pain free, WELL IT IS NOT! A few months ago I changed to British/Scottish Gas after years with Scottish Hyrdo. Hydro were putting their prices…
