EDF Energy has recently started to charge its customers a surcharge that they have to pay even if they don’t use the electricity at all. I wish to change to a tariff with no surcharge. Does anybody know a company that covers London that does not bill its customers a surcharge?

EON Saveonline 3 & Saveonline 9
Maybe it's just my hangover but can anyone tell me why Saveonline 9 is cheaper than Saveonline 3 when version 3 gives a 6% discount on standard prices and version 9 gives a 2% discount? I'm currently on version 3 which admittedly runs out in Nov and according to the comparison site I should move to EDF Saver 12, but the…

BG is it worth paying the extra 5% to 'fix' tariff until 2013?

EDF Energy - MyAccount help
Recently I switched my MIL to EDF (fixed 2014). Everything went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised after reading some horror stories on this forum. I am only having a bit of a bother with the online account - I registered using electricity account details and am not sure what to do next to add gas. Can anyone advise…

What impact did this deal have on the current pricing? http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/centrica-in-2bn-qatar-gas-deal-2223287.html

EDF Energy switch. Any comments?
Hi, about to switch to EDF Energy Fixed Saver2 Dual Fuel (from BG websave11). I know I'm switching late and will still take a hit with BG price rise. I like EON (great customer service) but EDF is cheapest (for 14months fix). Are they OK? (plus £20 quidco).

Ebico or SE to change electricity meter?
I have an economy 7 electricity meter at the moment and I am thinking of changing for a standard meter as I have central heating and don't really need it.
