EDF Energy - MyAccount help

Recently I switched my MIL to EDF (fixed 2014). Everything went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised after reading some horror stories on this forum.

I am only having a bit of a bother with the online account - I registered using electricity account details and am not sure what to do next to add gas.

Can anyone advise me what I need to do? Do I need to go to EDF website and proceed as if I was opening a brand new account? I am a bit worried that the system will not let me use the same details (email, security questions) twice or that I would end up with two separate accounts and would need to log in to both to submit meter readings.

I recently switched to EDF and I registered only one account for both electricity and gas as I only received one accounot number with EDF. The electricity is gone live and I have been able to enter meter readings for electricity first. It is only a week later that I was able to enter my gas readings, but nothing was showing in my account tracker, in the end I use the automated machine and gave my meter readings. Gas reading was accepted but not electric. Yesterday electric and gas readings were showing on my account but today only electric reading is showing. Just wait until your account will let you enter the gas readings. I switched on the 22nd June, went live for electricity on the 20th July and still waiting for the gas to go live. Despite several gas readings, my account still shows gas as waiting meter reading. I have already got a final bill from SP for electricity only, I guess the gas one will follow later. Hope this helps.

Thanks loulou41. I think I'll give them another week and if gas does not appear on my account by then, I'll give them a call.

I recently signed up using the gas account number, the electricity account appeared as well on my account.
