Question for Eon Rep
I am currently on Eon Fix Online 9, however the breakdown when I log in quotes the breakdown for Eon FixOnline 8 (or at least the wording!)
See below.
E.ON FixOnline 9
Fix your energy prices, receive an additional FixOnline discount
Normal units up to 900 kWhs per year
23.4885 pence
Normal units
10.0065 pence per kWh
Gas
Normal units up to 2680 kWhs per year
6.5247 pence
Normal units
3.1584 pence per kWh
Can you please confirm that the breakdown of unit prices is the right one or not and same with the discount...is this for FixOnline 8 or 9?
I am trying to work what the difference would be for me to stay on the FixOnline 9 (fixed till 1st March 2012) or move to Eon FixPrice Oct 2013
The next 12 months forecast Eon have made is 4079 kWh for Electric and 10 174kWh gas...however, I just changed from an all electric book (fan assisted oven and halogen hob) to an all gas cooker (oven and hob) So I have no idea how much difference this will give to both forecasts.
See below.

The wording regarding the tariff is incorrect for fixonline 9 as it ends 1-3-12 but the unit rates and discounts are right for fixonline 90

Quick question regarding the SaveOnline 9 quoted under the 'Switch Your Product' section of my online account. Are the unit costs quoted the prices as they stand today, or are they the unit costs we will be paying following the price increase on September 13th?
Also be grateful if you could confirm whether SaveOnline 9 is cheaper or more expensive than SaveOnline 8.
Thanks very much0 -
Thanks Airmike. Trying to work out what the difference would be, based on the forecast between staying on my current tarrif and Eon Fixprice 2013. However my added complication is the changing of electric hob/cooker to gas one last week.0

Hi *onlyme*
Airmike is spot on; the wording online is wrong but the prices/discounts you quote are for Fixonline 9 in the southern region (area 10).
The wrong wording is an issue with our website we're aware of and is currently affecting quite a few tariffs. Our technical bods are working to fix this but, unfortunately, it's taking longer than we would like.
Sorry for the confusion *onlyme* but hope this explains the discrepancy. Give me a shout if you're still unsure as will be happy to help.

Hi Rockula
Saveonline 9 prices will not be going up on 13 September 2011. The prices now on our website will be unaffected by the price increase announced last Friday.
Prices vary depending on the region you're in. The best way to check is to pop your details on to one of the comparison sites. This will not only show which of our products is best for you but will also display all the tariffs from the other suppliers.
If you're still struggling, drop an email to the address in my Profile. I'll be happy to take a look for you.

Just about to switch to SaveOnline9 but noticed wording has changed on website overnight.
Currently states 'your prices will be at least 2% cheaper than our standard (E.On EnergyPlan) prices for 12 months'
Yesterday it stated 'for next 12 months your prices will always be at least 2% cheaper than our standard E.On EnergyPlan prices as at 13 September 2011'
Which is correct please, as would make a difference if prices rise and E.On EnergyPlan increases?
