npower £170pm in a 2bed flat
Anybody else had probs with npower? That's what they're charging us for a 2bed flat - I won't go in to the detail, it's a loooong story and I've contacted the Ombudsman, but essentially, *how* can you prove or disprove whether or not usage is *actually* correct? :(

Feed-in tariff - selling surplus electricity
I'm about to have a micro generation system fitted and want to find the best price for the surplus power. My energy suppliers tell me they pay 3.1p per kwh and its ' set by the government' I know this to be untrue, the Government figure is a restriction on sales people overestimating the benefits. So who is the best…

Electricity bill seems very high
I am a little confused by the amount I am spending on electricity. We moved to our current house 2 1/2 yrs ago. I was with Atlantic Electricity before, so we moved our account with us (I did one of those switch deals, and they were cheapest). Since then, we had to up the payments to keep up – to about £75/month (elec…

EDF: The biggest price-hike yet?
I'm a newbie, but was so incensed that I just had to spread this absolutely shocking discovery! In December 2010, I signed up for EDF's Online S@ver Version 7 for dual fuel. The switchover was horrendous, but that's another story! Now this is crucial: I was eventually told that EDF only bill you 6-monthly. After all the…
