Eon refunds

For anyone who has switched away from EON to EDF recently - how long did it take to get any balance refunded ? and how did you get the refund, cheque or direct BACS to bank account?

Will only be bacs if cust has not cancelled dd, if dd is cancelled then will be a cheque. Not always automatically sent if there is a question over the readings used to calc final bill, so do check Eon final bill over, and query with it, or if cheque not inclosed, or does not inform you of when to expect it, call in.
