How much gas do you use a day?
I've been trying to work out how much I'm spending on gas per day for central heating, hot water and the gas hob. I'm starting to make a note of my gas meter reading at the same time each day so I can make a chart - sad, I know! So I was wondering whether anyone else keeps track of gas usage like this, or if you just know…

Price comparison sites-are they reliable?
I visited five sites, including the linked site to Money tips, yesterday for best prices for dual gas and electricity supply. All five came up with a similar set of offers but at least three of the sites used incorrect prices and quite a bit higher than actual energy prices for BG Click 6 energy prices. Consequently all…

Dimplex Storage Heaters in 1 bed flat
We recently moved into a one-bedroom flat, and we're spending most of our time in the living room. It's on the second floor so not too cold and the flat has double glazing. There are 3 dimplex heaters in the flat (bedroom, living room and bathroom) and so far I've only used the living room one for heat. However, I'm not…

bill from ex-supplier "glide"
We have just received an electricity bill from the supplier of the previous tenants who used the company 'glide' to pay for their bills. Regulate the price hikes
Most people want to save money on their energy bills but it is not always easy to switch as I work away from home. The wholesale cost is still around half its peak so bills should be coming down, not up. Why is their no legislation to stop this blatant profiteering? I,m all for competition but the energy companies, and the…
