Turn a rad off to save money?
Hi, can you advise please. We've got 8 radiators in our house. One bedroom isn't being used now so if we turned the radiator off or down will it make the gas bill a bit lower or does it all cost the same due to the boiler running anyway?

EON Billing me for prepay?
I'm absoloutely going out of my mind here. I moved into my rented house in April 2010 and there was a problem with the prepayment gas meter saying 'CALL FOR HELP', so I called Eon and they got an engineer out. He said it was a problem with my card and that he would get me a new one ordered. He put a machine into the gas…

Scottish Power, £4.00 month extra to fix, worthwhile?
Ok, my question is pretty much in the title. I can switch my existing package for gas & electricity with Scottish Power to a new deal which is capped until December 2012. )Capped Price Energy December 2012 product) However, I'm told that this will cost me about £4.00 month compared to the deal I'm currently. Do you think…

British Gas £50 switch reward
Did anyone switch to British Gas last year on a promise of £50 reward at the end of the 12 months? If so make sure your account has been credited, it's taken me 10 weeks to get it sorted. I also switched tariffs in August this year on the promise of an energy saving monitor and stand by monitor. I'm still chasing these.

GAS vE3LECTRICITY: which gives you the most bang for your buck?
Based on my usage over the last 12 months, I am paying an annual average of 3 pence per kWh for gas and 9 pence per kWh for electricity. On the face of it, this means that kWh for kWh electricity is three times more expensive than gas. Can this really be true? Does this mean that if I change my electric cooker for a gas…

OVO Reviews - should I switch?
I am looking to change to a fixed/capped tariff as my current supplier has hiked their prices. Ovo is coming out as the best deal, but I'm in two minds about switching to them as I've read some bad reviews. Could anyone tell me of their recent experiences with them - good or bad! Many thanks! :money:
