Eon how often can I change tariffs?
When my fixed tariff finished I switched to SaveOnlineSC. I now discover that the latest Eon fixed tariff will be cheaper than SaveOnlineSC by about £51 a year, every little helps, so can I switch to that? Ron.

It is getting to the time of year with the nights drawing in and the clocks going back and the temperature dropping that we all wish to hibernate in our homes, so a word to the wise so you are not left off supply suddenly and have to sit in the cold unable to cook dinner whilst you wait for your Gas supplier to send one of…

Do Comparison Sites consider D/D Rewards?
At present with npower I receive a £100 anniversary Direct Debit Reward. Do the comparison sites take into account these "bonuses" in calculating my potential savings? I am on the fixed tariff till 31.12.10 with npower although I am free to switch if I want and I am uncertain as to likely savings like some others on here I…

E-ON winge
Bit annoyed, I've got EON on a direct debit at the moment as I had a fixed deal and I knew I'd be spending about £50 a month (1 bed flat, lots of electronic gadgets) even though the sales team tried to put me on £25 a month DD. It was the right time to fix etc but plenty of people warned me off them. Everything has been…

To ombudsman or not?
Hi guys, I am hoping someone can help me out with a long running dispute I have had with npower. In 2006 I was incorrectly billed for £500 on my account, I lived above a bakery who in the same month received a bill for £30 so it all seemed quite obvious and easy to sort out! To cut an enormously long story short, they…

British Gas home care rip off?
I rang British Gas today as I have my annual service each October and hadn't heard anything. I was informed that the service was actually carried out back in June when I called them out regarding a fault with the boiler. The engineer didn't say anything about doing a service at the time. Do you know if it is common…

New rules on switching with a prepayment debt.
This is thin on info but from the Beeb: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/8314716.stm It's not clear under what circumstances customers will be able to switch or not switch. Nor how payments will be collected and at what rate once the switch has been made.

I don't trust the switching sites
A year ago I changed from Scottish power (monthly dd £65pcm) to EON because one of the switching sites (I can't remember which one) said I would save over £100. My new direct debit to EON was £75 and when I rang up they said it would settle down and that the discounts over the year would make it cheaper. So I put up with…
