Beware Argos NPower Scam
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to bring to people's attention that I registered with npower to switch over to them in an Argos store last summer. As a thankyou for switching, their promotion was a £25 Argos voucher. 9 months on, hours on the phone to them on their premium rate numbers and still no voucher. Anyone with similar…

Fixed or Capped?
Looking at capping or fixing my gas and elec, but getting very confused. Scottish power seem to be best but does that mean i am tied in until 2011 (in the unlikely event that prices go down!). Or is a capped rate better and who is offering those?

Cashback for returning to Scottish Power?
I've been looking at switching back to Scottish Power for their 2011 fixed rate, after having left them for Atlantic eighteen months ago. Does anyone have any idea whether there would be any problems getting the promised £75 cashback through Quidco? My concern is that if Scottish Power have my details on file, they may not…

comparing gas/elec prices
Beware - I just tried to do a comparison on Moneysupermarket's site - I input my annual kwh consumption, but it calculated the comparison as though the kwh numbers were £s:confused: . I sent a message via their site - just watch out if you are looking to switch utility companies

Cashback deals when opening a new account rather than switching
They state 'when switching' on Quidco so can I still get cashback when I open a new account with them? I've tried a couple and it asks for previous suppliers details but we will not be switching as we are moving to a new address. Any ideas how I get a new account and get the CB deals on Q? Thanks

Best & cheapest way to get gas supply to my house? Help!
My house is in a group of four houses at the end of an L-shaped driveway, about 60 metres from the road and the gas main, less distance in a straight line through peoples gardens. OK, I'm a noob to this - be gentle otherwise I'll set the MSE Arms on you! :D I've moved into a house. it has a prepayment key meter for electric and a normal meter for gas. my guestimate is that we'll be using about £35 on each per month (does that sound about right for two people in a terraced (although a bit of a big…

Switch to Scottish Power fixed now or wait for nPower duel fuel £80
My nPower £80 duel fuel discount comes out in July; however I'm trying to work out whether I should wait for the £80, or just fix now with Scottish Power as they seem to be the cheapest for me. I guess the question is whether any price increases over the next 3 months will be greater than £80. I've read a number of threads…
