Switch to Scottish Power fixed now or wait for nPower duel fuel £80

My nPower £80 duel fuel discount comes out in July; however I'm trying to work out whether I should wait for the £80, or just fix now with Scottish Power as they seem to be the cheapest for me.
I guess the question is whether any price increases over the next 3 months will be greater than £80.
I've read a number of threads where one SP customer was told by SP not to fix yet, but to wait as the deal will be around for a while; however as we all know, there are no guarantees.
Hmmm, not sure what to do.
Any advice?

Just my two pennies worth, but if nPower are waiting till July to announce this new tariff, surely won't it also incorporate the price rises predicted for this summer?
ie. will nPower new tariff work out far more expensive than SP's FixedPrice 2011 tariff (which was launched last February) ?0 -
Thanks Bill888.
Also a follow-up question - if I do select a fixed price tariff, I assume I won't be locked into that supplier until the end of the fixed price tariff. Thus, if I took the SP fixed price tariff until 2011, I can still change supplier if prices do subsequently drop.0 -
I've not read the Terms & Conditions but I believe you can quit the SP FixedPriceEnergy 2011 tariff at any time and say choose an alternative SP tariff.
With regards to leaving SP, SP may have a minimum term requirement but if there is one, I don't think it would be any different to any other major energy supplier.
