Do i cap or not with E.ON
I am on the dual fuel extra saver online with E.on and my last years totall bill was £943.I can go on there Price protection V14 and my bill, based on the last 12 months, would be £1080.That is approx £130 more expensive.I am thinking that, will energy prices go up by more than the £130 price difference between now and October 2009 to make it worth my while in changing. What is the forcast for energy price rises over the next year or so?

That would equate to an increase of 14.5%.
Increases are expected to be in the region of over 25-35% within the next year or so, so a fix wouldnt be a bad thing.
As with anything of this nature, its a gamble. Some you win some you lose.0 -
I waited and capped mine when BG put theirs up as it wouldn`t take long for the other suppliers to do the same. It seems BG and Eon seem to take it in turns to put up prices. I heard BG complaining about the increase in wholesale costs so I bet they do go up at least beginning of winter.0
