Faulty connection near meter causing 30% extra usage.

2 boilers - will we need seperate cover for each?
Can anyone help with this question... We have 2 seperate boilers in our house - a large Potterton for the central heating, and a smaller one for the hot water. We're thinking of taking out British Gas' "Homecare" cover for boiler protection - but will I need to pay twice the normal amount? i.e. one policy per boiler?

has anyone had a meter before and are they more expensive than if you just pay a bill, as someone has told me they are. and is it easy to get them to remove it so i can pay a bill instead. just moved to house and never had one before.

What % of your electricity do you use "of-peak" if you are E7/E10 etc?
Please supply any other relevant info e.g what tarrif you are on (E7 / E10 etc.), how you achive a high % off-peak usage etc. To work out, divide off-peak units by total units (off-peak + peak) and multiply result by 100 i.e. 100 off-peak, 60 peak would be (100/160) x 100 = 62.5%

Shower - High Electricity Usage ?
Hi folks, We're in the process of reducing our electricity usage and just worked out that our shower uses around 0.17 kwh per minute. Does that seem high?
