I have decided to come off dual fuel with scottish power but stay with them for my electricity, but change to the Discounted Energy OnlineMonthly Direct Debit tarrif, and go to Npower for my gas on Sign Online 10
Monthly Direct Debit tarrif. I am thinking of signing up to Npower through quidco, and think I will be able to change my tariff on scottish power,. Has anyone else done something similar and did the switch go smoothly?

would I need to sign up with Npower and wait for that to be up and running then swap tarrif with Scottish power?
and would I choose Discounted Energy as the product I would prefer?

cheers
