Well Miffed - After all the Price hikes, I'm STILL on the cheapest tariff !!
After watching the price hikes like a hawk, and frequent visits to uswitch and the like, it was looking like I could have saved £100 a year on my bills and got £60 quidco for switching.....
Now, after ALL the suppliers have completed their price reviews and re-checking, I'm still on the cheapest tariff for my area and consumption by £60 a year according to the main comparison sites !!
Anyone else been caught in this situation, or is it just me ?????

Who are you with if you dont mind me asking?
I am currently with Scottish Power and was struggling to find the tarrif i was on, on the comparison sites, and was finding that Scottish power where still cheapest. Then I checked with SwitchwithWhich and found my tariff, turns out I could save between £94 - £122 with British gas and also get £60 cashback with Quidco.0 -
nicky - I'm with SP on the online energy saver 4 dual fuel tariff, recognised by all the comparison sites. Will try SwW and see what it says, but not holding out much hope...will post back as to how I get on.......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Have you tried comparing seperate gas and electricity providers instead of going with a dual fuel contract.
I found that I am saving around £70 a year on the cheapest dual fuel rates. by having gas and electric supplied by seperate companies.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.

dori2o - yes, looked at that also...slight reduction in cost of one is more than offset against increased costs of the other, so nett overall effect is around the same over a year....hey-ho.........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I have since checked for separate gas and electricity and found out I could save even more. Its been approx 16 months since I switched to scottish power, maybe thats why theres cheaper out there for me, although if thats the case I probably been paying over the odds for a bit too.0

GunJack have you checked the unit prices you're on now are the same as the best buy ones? EON and possibly others introduced a new tariff version at old prices but left existing customers on the now higher prices. Seems unlikely you would avoid price rise without switching.0
