Im wonder if someone can help me here:

moved to new build property Oct 2006 ( gas & elec with B.Gas)

Dec 06 swapped gas and electric to Atlantic, electricity on PRE PAYMENT meter

April 08 I receive a 'NOTICE OF ELECTRICITY WARRANT ' for £330.83 from Atlantic threatening
* CCJ
* Debt to go to debt collection agency
* Warrant to gain access to the meter ( which is outside anyway :rolleyes: )

On the back of the letter it they want all readings off the pre payment meter , even the meter number ( strange - I would of thought they would know the meter number !! )

Im just baffled how I can owe money to them on a PRE PAYMENT meter ?????????

If your meter hasn't been calibrated with the correct tariff rate, you will owe money.
If this is the first notification about the debt, then phone them, get someone out to check and ask for time to pay.
