Can BG just decide a new DD?
 I have an elderly father who has been with British Gas since time immemorial. He has always paid by DD but there has been a deficit between his payments through DD and his actual usage. BG have now written to him and "TOLD" him his new DD will be over £200 per month (previously about £50 per month). Can they do this?…

Comparision Site Problem
I have recently tried to go about inputting my gas and electric independently in the comparision sites, instead of dual fuel. Problem is they won't let me. Because I put in the current details of dual fuel and tick for example Electric only, they don't let me do this. Any ways round this so I can get an idea?

Halve your heating costs
One point from a workshop I attended this weekend. Paul Mobb recommends the power of the wrist. 1.Get a screw driver and turn the thermostat on the hot water tank down to 55 degrees rather than the 70 it is set at presently. Hot enough to run a bath/shower without adding cold water. 2. When you are at home, operate the…
