Ok I have just bought my first flat. I have signed up to scottish power Online 3. Trying to pay the least amount per year and need some advise.
Current tarrif has a standing charge which I work out at costing £84.85 per year gas and elec.
If I took the no standing charge would I only pay for the first 1150Kwh gas and 225Kwh elec for the year or does it reset every quater??
If it's for the year I calculate £63.71 a year for the first rates!! Then it's the same cost as the gas and elec on the standing charge option. Am I correct??
So am I better off on a standing charge tarrif or should I go no standing charge?

It is 1150/225kWh per quarter for gas/electricity.
It normally works out the same*, unless, you use less than 1150/225kWh in a particular quarter.
*The difference between the 2 rates for the first 1150/225kWh per quarter.0 -
Hi there. Watch Scottish Power like a hawk ! I just found out they have been charging my daughter full day time rate for the past 18 months when she had Economy 7 tariff, last bill for a 2 bed flat (you could swing a very small cat in it) in Glasgow was £387!!!
