Does anyone know if there is anyway of getting away from them cost free even though joing price protection until 2010 as their service and blling service is terrible. I ahve had 3 different electric bills in the last 2 weeks alone each one saying i am getting more and more in debit with them they have also done the same on my gas bill

Welcome to the forum.

Much as we all can understand your frustration with BG's billing, if you leave price protection 2010 tariff you will not get anything as cheap for gas or electricity.

As long as your meter readings are correct(check your bill) and ensure BG have them, you will only be paying what you use.

Moving to another company can also be a pain.

Bear in mind that your prices are fixed for another 3 years. I am not sure where prices will be in 2 years time.

You will probably end up paying more if you switch away. However if you are determined to do it there are ways of getting around the cancellation fee, however I'm not gonna tell you what they are Read the t&c carefully and see if you can figure it out for yourself
