What time does your employment end on the day you depart for liability and service purposes?
From an insurance, liability and personal death in service benefit perspective, what time does your employment end when you leave a job? I have never seen an employment contract specify the exact time your employment ends on the day you resign. Therefore if you were to leave a job say Monday, and start with your new…

Self assessment mileage claim as an employee working from home
Hello In interpreting the guidance from HMRC, now that my employer has officially contracted me to work from home (as we have all decided to never go back into the office again), I interpret that any work related journey I make I can claim mileage in my self assessment from the moment I leave home if I am not claiming the…

Is there an online "Competency CV" template?
I've already signed up with My Perfect CV to write resumes, but the format is for a 5-year work history, which doesn't work for me as I've been working overseas for 8 years in a field totally unrelated to where I want to be (moving from being an editor to a hospital cleaner). I'm looking for a competency cv template…

I've been unemployed the last three weeks and realising I need to add a few strings to my bow to show training after living overseas for 8 years. Looking to do a Health and Safety course so that I can do cleaning work at the local hospital (it's not required, but it would help my application). Google has a raft of courses,…

Just wondered if they'd even look twice at someone with by career…

Pegasus Opera 3 - leaver
Hi, do any Pegasus Opera 3 users know how to remove a leaver status from someone. It is in this month's payroll, has not been linked to a FPS yet, and was just an error - it should have been added to someone else with a similar name. Any advice would be great, please. Thanks

Suicide thoughts, Investigation for alleged gross misconduct and grievance letter
Hi all,
