survey about feedback
On a different buying account (not the one I am having issues with ) I have been asked to do a survey about what I think of the feedback system. Basically they want to know whether I thought the system eay to understand. Interestingly that account is primarily a selling one and I bought on it by accident so it looks as…

Paypal have ripped me off.
I have two paypal accounts. One I use for Ebay sales and purchaes and one I use for stuff I buy on bike forums. Both are linked to different bank accounts but both in my name. My ebay account was limited about 4 months ago and I sent in all the documentation requested. My bike one was limited after receiving a couple of…

Feedback advice
Hoping the experienced eBayers can advise. I 'bought' with a 'Best offer accepted' new iPhone 4S on 30 August. I paid immediately, as I always do but heard nothing until 4 September when I got this email from PayPal telling me about a full refund: "Message from merchant: Paypal have restricted my account and as a result i…

Case? Final? Ebay has got to be kidding me! Please help.
Hi guys, Im very angry and upset at this moment in time. I sold a DSLR camera son ebay for a good enough price of £285. All was well and the buyer never contacted me UNTIL a week later. The buyer said they had taken the camera on holiday and the brighter images had come out with slight blurs on even though in darker photos…

Ebay rant!
Will keep this short and sweet!! Why won't buyers contact sellers with ANY and ALL queries/problems regarding the transaction before leaving feedback?! Yes ok, they've left me positive feedback but with a negative comment regarding postage. I've immediately refunded the full postage costs as I do admit the error is…

Help please re item returned with no postage
Hi. I sold some pyjamas on a BIN for £9.99 plus postage. The buyer e-mailed to say that the pyjamas were too big and they would prefer a refund as I did not have the same pjs in a smaller size. I told them I would accept a return based on my Return Policy which is: 'Change of Mind: I am happy to accept returns on items…

New without tags rant
Right that's it, I've had enough.....It's either new with tags or nothing at all. Just received a dress supposedly new without tags. It clearly isn't, it's bobbled, has a tear in the neck and the biggest giveaway, has the hanging tags cut out. It's not worth paying the postage to send it back ....glad I only paid £4 but…

Can I exclude a buyer with zero transaction history from bidding for my item on ebay?
I'm only a casual seller usually just clearing out unwanted junk when ebay do a free-listing promotion. This time, I've put on a mobile phone and I've got 10 "watching" it so far but I've just had someone make an opening bid at the starting price of £75. It's someone who's registered about 2 months ago but has zero history…

Question: who here's been flashed? (Minds out the gutter, I mean by a Speed Camera)
Very quick query (I hope). I did a forum and a google search and couldn't really find anything so forgive me to asking a dumb question. I got flashed by a speed camera the other week. Annoyingly I am always really careful about my speed (except that time I hired a DB9 and, come on! :p ) but was doing about 35mph in a 30…

Sellers biggest ebay grumbles (Things they should fix)
Ebay sellers whats your biggest grumble? I must admit as time goes on I have more and more so thus use Ebay less :( However by far my biggest grumble is an old one ***** or not for dispatch time  Virtually all buyers score this on the amount of time taken for the item to arrive at their front door and not when you…

eBay estimated fees for selling - is it legal?
I get frustrated that when I re-list a load of stuff it comes up with an estimated fee. I then have no choice whether I can accept the actual fee once processed. Is this a legal thing to do?! I.e charge someone without actually telling them the exact charge that will be made to them?!

preventative measures?
I sold something on ebay for £11ish, but heard nothing from the buyer for a week, despite sending her 2 messages asking when she wanted to come and get it, so I used the 2nd chance offer and sold it for £1 less. But when I tried to cancel the 1st one to get my fees back, she declined my request and has now asked when she…
