It wasn't there fault really. I'm being weaned off the painkillers and hoping to go home tomorrow but my scar has got infected and is starting to go keloid so I need to stay here as my body won't fight infections because of the anti-rejection drugs :( They said this could drag on and I might be here another month! I can't…

mobility scooter?
Hi All, Im thinking of buying a heavy duty mobility scooter for 'off road' rambling. Ive used a Beamer Tramper, but have been looking at a TGA Breeze or the 3 wheeled TGA. Does anyone have any experience of these? Is it really worth paying about £2000 more for a Tramper? any advice would be great, thanks, shirley

ESA must be returned within 31 days - they've stolen two weeks !
They've slipped in a new change to the rules from 6 weeks to 4 weeks [ 31 days ] - so 6 to 4 weeks to do everything - booking CAB appointments can take a month, if ever - getting supporting medical evidence can take a month plus - even just needing help to complete the form can take up that time - bad enough for those with…

Hi all, I was just wondering if there's anywhere I can go to find out about problems with the supply of one of my medications? How would you answer?
I have to go into several hospitals over the next few weeks. I have to complete a HAD survey, one great big section covers whether I have or am intent on taking legal action against "any" hospital. This section is quite worrying, as should I answer honestly I have no doubt that it will have a bearing on my care. Some of…

Life At The Edge And Beyond
I have just finished reading a book called Life At The Edge and Beyond by Jan Greenman. Unusual for me as I don't generally like reading books and if I start I normally end up not finishing it. I wondered if anyone else has read this. It is an autobiography (I think that's the name) about a Mother brining up her son who…
