Recently took out a mortgage for a property in Turkey. Everything o.k except for actually paying the mortage. It's costing nearly £40 to send the money! I have tried two different banks here but both seem to charge the same. Has anyone got any ideas of a cheaper way to send money to the bank in Turkey?:o

Bailiff fees clarification
Hi. I need clarification on what bailiffs can charge before I submit a Form4 compaint. Due to the complete incompetence of the local authority parking debts (for 16 pcns) added upto £2180. One of the issues was correspondence was being sent to a previous address. This previous address was also where the bailiffs claimed…

How does the DMP work
I have started the first steps with PayPaln - have my interview on Monday evening. Do they work out what you can afford to pay your creditors from the money left after house bills/mortgage, etc? How much do you usually pay? Is there a different amount if you do it as a couple as opposed to two indvidiuals? Would it be…

County Court Judgements
Hi all, I have just obtained a Trust Online report and provided my previous address where I lived for 26 years. The report stated "Nothing Registered." I then received my Experian Credit File for my current address over the last 6 years - and again - there is not one blemish. What I can be sure of is that there are no…

overpayment woes
I need advice! I was let go from my job on 27th of july. I worked for the intolerably evil British Gas in one of their labour farms/call centres. As they pay on the 15th, and you're paid 2 weeks in arrears, 2 weeks in advance, I was not entitled to any further wages from them (which is why they ALWAYS sack people at the…

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when…

I have enough to offer them a full an final on one…
