County Court Judgements

Hi all,

I have just obtained a Trust Online report and provided my previous address where I lived for 26 years. The report stated "Nothing Registered."

I then received my Experian Credit File for my current address over the last 6 years - and again - there is not one blemish.

What I can be sure of is that there are no Judgements in existence against my name for the period of the last 6 years.

What I need to know is: if someone had a Judgement (older that six years), what would be the procedure necessary to re-register the Judgement and what would it cost?

Don't know much about this but my understanding is that the creditor would need to go back to court to obtain a right to chase you for a CCJ older than 6years - I think that they also have to give a fairly good reason why they had not chased for it sooner. Don't know about the costs involved though.

But certainly Trust online should have details for all CCJs, so if you haven't had any other addresses looks like you haven't had any for the last 26years.
