Good morning campers....:D:D
Normal service today? Been missing you lot like mad but so silly busy with work, I'm coming home and sorting kids, going to bed!
I'm doing a wedding today (makeup) then coming home and making bread. Never tried it before but thought I'd give it a whirl (I lie, I made it when I was a kid, lol) I got a lovely chicken last night at Mr M's cheap and cooked that last night and made a huge batch of coleslaw and going to make some banana bread as well as have about 10 frozen bananas in the freezer. Need to attack the laundry today as usual-then XFactor tonight! I may have a few drinks to celebrate not being at work.
I had a letter from Occupational Health re. my new job (almost cacked myself-say 'West Mercia Constabulary' thought I finally had dates!) but they wanted more information about when I broke my elbow...31 years ago! !!!!!!! Can I use it ok? Do I experience any pain? Uh, no. I was 8. I'm fine ta. Lol.
Anyhoo, hopefully can catch up with everyone today.
Would love to do the 12 week thing but feeling slightly despondant (work) and comfort eating so dont even know if there is a thread or anything?:o

Morning Bunny Bunster. Nice to see you back!
There is a thread HERE for the 12 week challenge.
There is also a thread HERE for the Scottish meet if you're coming.
Why you feeling blue? Just fed up of work and waiting?
Glad to hear you've got a wedding to do. Hopefully that'll pick up a bit. Wish I had a skill like that to make money from!26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I think I got the bananas hint from BB? Could be wrong but no one in my family will eat them once they are really ripe, so I freeze them until I am ready to make banana bread. I must say, once they thaw it's DISGUSTING! lol, like big slimey slugs *gack*Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

MT-I work in insurance at the minute and have an evil cow of a boss who bullies everyone. We've recently taken a new company and all their clients AND there system to manage them-and had no training. We've also had 5 memembers of staff leave-so more work, less staff+evil boss=Sad BunnyEmpty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

I want some advice-I am going to subscribe to Runners world Magazine-I really like it and it helps to keep me motivated and I get excellent hints and tips for training as a new (VERY) new runner-they have 2 offers right now, 1 for 3 months for £3 or a free watch-it's a 'training' watch from what I can see-not a Garmin or anything but not sure which one to go for...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

possibly 'passing on the good feeling' from you giving me your lush pumpkin pie recipe.
Yep - you can freeze bananas. Peel and wrap in foil. I slice them first - when they are just starting to defrost (ie won't break your teeth) they taste like really solid banana icecream. Good way to bung a load of ripe ones together and then mush for banana bread when they have defrosted
Off to send a parcel of bits I bought back to the shop and then pop into Asda. Classes start Monday so need the ingredients for the first session."Stay Wonky":D

Hi there, I thought I would join in the chat. Hope everyone is having a wonderful morning.
Bunny, why don't you just go on the runner's world website. They have alot of articles available for free, especially for beginners. I used this when I just started off running myself. I'll go dig out a link for you a little later. Do you have an iphone? There's loads of free apps on there for runners.
Right, I'm off for a little wander around the farmer's market. Can't afford to buy anything, but I get to taste all the delicious samples!
Have a great morning!MFW Newbie - #17. (#116 in 2019)
