Credit Card Scam

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum so apologies if this has already been covered, which I'm guessing it probably has.
My mum recieved a call a while ago now from a company called Glovista Red, claiming they could wipe her credit card debt off. An amount of 800 has been charged to her card. She has received a letter from them saying her claim has been passed on to an independent legal team.
If this is a scam, does anyone know if there's any way she can get her money back? I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who knows more about this or has a good idea of what to do about it.
Thanks in advance,
Lauren.

Tell her to contact her card company and quote section 75

Paying for goods or services by credit card is now a major part of daily life, with many people preferring this method of payment to using cash or cheques. An advantage of using a credit card is that, under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, customers who have a claim against a supplier for breach of contract or misrepresentation will generally have an equal claim against the card issuer.Ex forum ambassador
