Hiya,
I was due to get married in a couple of weeks however cancelled due to financial restraints and these putting a huge strain on our relationship.
Anyway me and OH agreed to go away for the weekend the weekend we would have been getting married, however this will mean spending money that im thinking i could chuck at our debts. On the other hand I think we cancelled our wedding and honeymoon so we deserve the weekend.
I really wanna just book somewhere but deep down no i probably shouldnt

How about you cost it up and see how cheap you can get it to be (you could make a game of having as cheap a weekend as possible, choose somewhere where there are loads of free things to do)
Or
How about telling people you are away, buying some really nice food and drink, unplugging phones and switching off mobiles - and having a faux honeymoon weekend at home. (Just make sure the food is something you can eat in bed as you might not want to spend much time in the kitchen!)A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
