Feeling somewhat sick.....
Added up my total Visa balances last night and the total just over £22,400!! _pale_ Feel seriously sick as that doesn't even include my loan (that I stupidly took out to pay off two of the cards and didn't cut the cards up)! Never missed any payments but owing more than my yearly wages, am I likely to be able to get a…

I have found the way to stay on budget
Trying to budget for weekly shopping was always a bit of a problem with my other half as if she went in to a shop for a loaf of bread and a pint of milk she would walk out with a trolley full of junk . So now if shopping has to be done I just go my self and just get whats needed staying in budget. And get lots of bogof as…

REALLY cross with myself
I overslept, missed my coach (which is paid for for the month) and had to get the train. Which cost me a tenner, then as I was SO late I had to get a cab to work (another fiver gone). Im so annoyed at myself that I just wasted £15 on getting to work when I have already paid £207 for my travel for the month. I could scream…

Amending credit file?
My fiancee has a really good credit score and he applied for some interest free credit of £500 to buy some computer bits and was turned down which he was surprised about, but hey ho he was extremely shocked to discover on his online report that there has been something about a "fraudulent application" on it next to this…

Feel the pinch, it's the first of the Month
My first substantive payment on my graduate study loan came out today. £500! Last month's was £263, but this wasn't enough for my tastes considering about £60 of that was towards interest. £500 gives a much bigger impact on the balance and makes me feel like I'm finally getting started. Roll on 1 September!

Don't think I'm going to make it
- clearing my target that is. I feel so down about this - this is not my only debt, far from it - but the physological boost I was getting lowering that present balance figure was unbelieveable. What makes it worse is that this is the 2nd time I will have had to put back the date of clearing it. As for clearing the debts…

Mortgage Payment Holiday - breathing space.
Hello, My first post although I am an avid reader of all the helpful advice here. Quick question - has anyone taken a break from their Mortgage to allow them to pay off debts sooner, or do you think it is better to keep transferring balances to 0% credit cards and plugging away - I can only afford to pay about £200 per…
