Cancelling loan protection or charges first?
Hello, I've been doing a DMP with CCCS since Feb now and have only just realised I can cancel my loan protection payments. As I am just starting a new job I want to wait until I have been paid once (for security of my job) before I do this. My question is, would I be better off waiting until I've done this until I send off…

Those bank charges - question
Hi My OH is trying to claim back around 1.4k in bank charges from Barclays, but at the moment it's with the small claims court. My fiance's parents have offered to put in a substantial deposit to allow us to get our first home with my fiance having the mortgage in his name only. We're just a bit worried that once we're married that the 'financial link' could be there and if I end up going bankrupt (worst case scenario), would the OR take the house…

Self esteem
This is something which is implicit in a lot of threads - and indeed in the ethos of this site - but I was just wondering - and I thought it would be helpful for a lot of us to share.. how debt has affected our self esteem and whether taking control of debt whether here or elsewhere has helped. I know from personal…
