please help debt!

hi i'm new to this site and have already posted this message on the referal board (but i don't think i was meant to! oops sorry!)
i was wondering if any 1 could help
Basically i got into debt with high rate credit and store cards before became pregnant with my first child-i had insurance on all of them but when i became extremely ill with pre-eclampsia and tried to claim on the insurance they refused saying it was a self induced illness! (obv i got pregnant so i could become life threatingly ill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
the only thing they could do for me was to put my on repayment plans-because of this i have a "very poor" credit rating,
I want to pay off all of my debt but unfortunately because of my credit rating i cant transfer balances on to less rate credit cards and my bank wont give me a loan-i know i shouldn't get more debt but at present i am in full time work earning £800 £500 of this goes on credit bills the rest on rent and utility bills-if i was to get a loan i would be paying £130 a month-so i would be able to save for a mortgage and our family could go on our first holiday, i have been to citizens adv who weren't helpful and i dont want to go to a debt solution company or i will have no chance of a mortgage in future-any tips would be greatly appreciated. thankyou.

Have you checked with someone like Citizens Advice that they were correct to withhold your insurance payments despite the fact that you were seriously ill? Might be worth a try.

why not post your Statement of Affairs...its very difficult yo make constructive suggestions without seeing the full financial picture....And by the way, whilst a debt management plan would make your credit record look very bad, it doesnot mean you'll never be able to get a mortgage.

Welcome. You will get fantastic advice from the folks here. There are far more expierenced posters, but a SOA will help people to really give you the advice that you need.

just a thought but if you still have payment protection insurance on any of your cards etc - cancel it and save yourself some money. They are notorious for not paying out when you need them to.
