I’m just wondering does paying the bill before my statement comes make any difference?, either positive or negative. And vice versa if I wait till the statement comes and then pay it does it make any…

Capital One message
I have a DD to monthly pay off my Capital One card, today I received a text message saying they delayed taking the DD. I’m assuming that because it is their error they could not charge interest for a late payment and that is why they texted me? Did other people have the same problem?

Unable to reduce credit card limit? Refused by bank
I recently did a balance transfer and then tried to reduce the limit on the credit card I transferred some of the balance from. I just got an email from Natwest saying: Is this normal? I probably have a bad rating due to having lots of debt (but no missed payments) but I was trying to reduce the limit. Do they do a whole…

Hi all Recently got my AmEx through and was looking to buy some euros for a holiday comming up. But I'm sure buying foreign currency incurs a 3% fee as it would be the same as withdrawing from a cash point? I've linked my AmEx to PayPal and I am aware I can buy vouchers in store. MBNA is killing me @ 29.9% pa
I need to get this sorted, after doing a deep analysis of 2018 home accounts, I've discovered I've paid £2700 in interest last year. The card amount for the year started off at £12,600, and it's ended at £9,090. The card's used for fuel, food shopping, and similar things. It's a struggle to get the amount down, and I feel…

Which is the best credit card? First time owning a credit card
I've never owned one so don't know what to look for. My focus is on making money and so I'm less bothered by service etc. E.g. With a normal current/debit account I focus on high interest and switch incentives (they pay well). So all my attention is on actually maximising how much I make and then less important things to…

Experian Score
My first mortgage account went live today on Experian. My fake score stopped by 50 points. Just shows how ridiculous it is. I’m sure having a mortgage will look favourable to lenders? Just shows why it needs to be ignored. On the other hand Noddle score increased by about 35 points. :rotfl::rotfl:
