Ugliest Card Design Ever
Back in 2003 when I was an irresponsible idiot, I was forced to open a Basic Bank Account With Bank of Scotland and received the most hideous looking Debit Card (Visa Electron) The card was pink and purple and had flowers rising from the bottom of the card. They were also very faded and obscure and I vote that it was in my…

Halifax credit card not in Goa
Hi, gulible old me took Martins and others views about the clarity card for obtaining cash abroad without checking the small print, as opposed to "Card Overview" or "Main Features". I would normally take £ notes abroad with me and change them as required. Going to Goa for four weeks to celebrate our 50th W/A I was a tad…

Best 0% long term credit card for retired couple
Hi, a quick question. My folks want to borrow £2000 on a year to 2 year 0% interest, bearing in mind they both retired 2 years ago what would the best option be? Credit Cards and available credit
I had a balance of 18K on a 0% credit card. I've been paying it off as fast as I can and I'm down to 12.5K so far. Each month as I've been making a payment I've been reducing my credit limit on the card. So instead of having a card with an 18.5K limit and 12.5k balance.... I now have a 12.5k with a 12.5k balance. Am I…

Bad credit rating
I have a weak credit rating. I am now in a position to start nurturing it so that it increases. I want to transfer the credit on my 2 credit cards so I can use the money I currently pay on the interest to pay off the balance. However, as my credit rating is so low, I don't think any bank will let me do a balance transfer.…

Photos on credit cards (security)
Just been reading another thread about fun designs on credit/debit cards. This gave me an idea a great security feature would be to have your own photo on your own credit card. This would make it near on impossible for someone else to use your card in a shop, wouldn't help much online granted, is there any mileage in this…
