Ugliest Card Design Ever

Back in 2003 when I was an irresponsible idiot, I was forced to open a Basic Bank Account With Bank of Scotland and received the most hideous looking Debit Card (Visa Electron) The card was pink and purple and had flowers rising from the bottom of the card. They were also very faded and obscure and I vote that it was in my opinion the ugliest design ever.
I wish I had not thrown it away after it expired as I now always keep my old cards. I know that you are supposed to destroy them, but for nostalgia, I keep them and you never know they might be worth something in 40 or 50 years from now. BOS have improved their designs recently, I especially love the 'Stonehenge' one.
What do others think?
PS there were a few amused assistants at the checkout when I used to hand the card over to be swiped!!

the vanquis ones are pretty horrendous and look and feel like theyve been made by a 4 year old0

I don't know, this one is pretty bad...
or maybe you could make your own "most ugly" card...

The M&S is a hideous pot-pourri of randomly thrown together tidbits of perceived "britishness". That, or the aftermath of an explosion at a clip-art factory!
Personally, I think this one trumps them all:You wanna hear about my new obsession?
I'm riding high upon a deep recession...0 -
I think Halifax's Clarity card isn't particularly aesthetically pleasing, but then again I use it because it saves me a fortune, rather that helps me when I'm out on the pull
.
Additionally, from my deck, Tesco, Barclaycard and Aqua are pretty awful.
Opposite end of the spectrum, Nationwide Select, NatWest Yourpoints and Capital One Aspire World are pretty sleek looking. All this is my opinion, of course, others may think they're horrendous!0 -
I bet M & S paid someone a fortune to design that monstrosity !0

They did!!I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

Some of the ugliest card's I've seen are (in no order):
1. M&S Bank Debit Card
2. Clydesdale Bank Maestro Card
3. Vanquis Visa Card
4. Lloyds TSB Debit Cards (current & olympic)
5. Barclays Visa Debit Card
On the other hand, some very aesthetic card's (imo) are:
1. My Nationwide FlexPlus Debit Card
2. My Child & Co Debit Card
3. Bank Of Scotland Private Banking Debit Card
4. Arbuthnot Latham Debit Card
5. AmEx Clear Blue Card0 -
I hate the fact my Lloyds TSB debit card has a huge Horse on the front.0

Did they place an AK-47 against your head and march you into a BOS branch to open an Easycash account?
The full account version was actually aesthetically pleasing being mainly blue with purple and the flowers were actually a thistle.Back in 2003 when I was an irresponsible idiot, I was forced to open a Basic Bank Account With Bank of Scotland and received the most hideous looking Debit Card (Visa Electron) The card was pink and purple and had flowers rising from the bottom of the card.
