Some of the ugliest card's I've seen are (in no order):

    1. M&S Bank Debit Card
    2. Clydesdale Bank Maestro Card
    3. Vanquis Visa Card
    4. Lloyds TSB Debit Cards (current & olympic)
    5. Barclays Visa Debit Card

On the other hand, some very aesthetic card's (imo) are:

    1. My Nationwide FlexPlus Debit Card
    2. My Child & Co Debit Card
    3. Bank Of Scotland Private Banking Debit Card
    4. Arbuthnot Latham Debit Card
    5. AmEx Clear Blue Card

The FlexPlus card *is* quite aesthetically pleasing, but I'm not overly bothered about card designs, as long as it works :)
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

not the ugliest design, but there was a light blue visa electron which a white diagnal faded design through the middle of the card. I used to always think the car was cut up or something and double checked.
  • Not that it really matters but the Metro Bank debit card is pretty nasty looking, like paying for your shopping with a library card.

I think Amex tend to have nice designs, although I have to admit the Gold charge card is a little blingy for my liking. The standard green charge card is a classic though.

Did they place an AK-47 against your head and march you into a BOS branch to open an Easycash account?

The full account version was actually aesthetically pleasing being mainly blue with purple and the flowers were actually a thistle.

It was not an "Easycash account", it was a BOS Cardcash Account.

The full Account card naturally would be different to the Basic Account card. Thank you for revealing that the flowers were thistles. Like I said, they were faded and obscure.

Is it just me, or does the M&S Bank debit card actually depict the inside of the average Daily Mail reader's brain?

I hate the fact my Lloyds TSB debit card has a huge Horse on the front.

    I like the horse

Best one for me is my Co-Op members card, which is yellow with black figures - because it's the only one I have where I can read the card number without having to put my reading glasses on!
