Co-operative Credit Card Application

I am waiting to hear from the Co-operative Bank if I was successful after applying online for their low rate platinum card last Tuesday. I got two emails 15 minutes after the application stating that they would email with a decision within a few days. Well it's been 8 days now and still no response. No credit search has been carried out with either Experian or Equifax.
I am well peeved. Has anyone some experience of dealing with them? Is it normal to take this long? It just doesn't bode well. Thanks.

Give them a ring, only way to find out.0

myn was next dayDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

You should of heard by now, ring them up, chances are something was missed on the application which has meant the process hasnt completed. They will be able to tell you what it is over the phone.0
