It states my credit will be increased from £1000 to £2000 on 9th April, it also states I must make payment on time and stay in my limit which is all fine. My spend is about £700 a month which I load the debit card with. Would I be better paying this money into my credit card (thereby paying of part of the old balance) and using the…

Paying by PayPal in Store - Section 75 ok?
Several stores (eg M&Co) are now accepting PayPal in Store as a payment method. The charge can then be directed to a Credit Card. The question is, what are the implications to your Section 75 protection? Anyone any ideas?

Should I pay off?
Hi I received a letter from my cc company advising that they were increasing rates and if I didnt accept then they would effectively freeze my card against using further, which is no problem. I have been reading that having available credit available improves credit scores (which again, my credit history is good but my…

What do you do with your cashback?
I was just thinking about what I will do with my cashback and was wondering what other people do with theirs. Do you treat yourself? Or knock the amount of the cashback off that months bill and save the equivalent amount? I think I'm going to spend mine on some more photography equipment.

Equifax innacuracy
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum Just got myself one of those free 30 days things with Equifax. Everything seems in order except for the financial associates part. It lists my wife, except it lists her old name. Just wondering how you go about changing this, if at all possible? Everything else is accurate other than…

Avoid Equifax
If you need to check your credit rating use Experian and avoid Equifax. Equifax appears to be cheaper than Experian but after signing on-line it asks you to call them at 5p a minute. It migh look cheap but they make sure you are kept hanging on for long enough so that they make money off you even before you are fully…

I recently applied for a credit card for someone with bad credit, as i was discharged from BR in 2009. Much before then my score was poor, about 350, but i managed to get a contract phone and had that for about 10 months, so was hoping my score would have gone up in that time. Upon being declined, i went back to check my…

Hello :) Just a quick question to anybody who owns a barclaycard. Online it's telling me my last statement was 6th March. I hadn't received the card by then so it was a £0.00 balance. So, does that mean that my statement will come in on 6th April, 6th May etc... If yes, does that mean that any transactions I make for…

getting dodgy charge back
Hi, Earlier today my wife (in my absence) used our joint credit card to pay for a EHIC card. These should be free from the NHS for European travel, but my wife Googled it and though she should've known better, she ended up paying £20 for the card from some unofficial website in Luxembourg rather than officially (and free)…
