in Credit cards
Several stores (eg M&Co) are now accepting PayPal in Store as a payment method. The charge can then be directed to a Credit Card.
The question is, what are the implications to your Section 75 protection?
Anyone any ideas?

You lose S75 protection when paying with Paypal as the CC company are not directly involved in the transaction when put through an intermediary.0

No debtor/creditor link = No S75.
Always pay direct.
Remember you still have paypal buyer protection. And to be honest S75 is hardly ever likely to come into play with these types of retailer.
Remember ITEM price (excluding P&P) has to be more than £100. NOT total invoice price.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -

Thanks to all replies above. I suspected that the S75 protection would be lost.
As an aside I had to use ebay's puyer protection recently for a phone which didn't arrive. It worked: As the seller hadn't posted it 'Tracked', there was no question and I had my money back from ebay within 24hrs of the Buyer Protection period closing.0 -
I wouldn't rely on PayPal at all... Just for minimal eBay transactions maybe.
For everything else use a credit card directly with retailer to pay.ORIGINAL MORTGAGE AMOUNT £106,454.00 (Started Sept 2007)
