Statute barred / default question
Sorry, prob in wrong place, but here goes.... Agreement taken out in Jan 2004, stopped paying it in July 2004 as suddenly realised I was pushed into an unaffordable consolidation loan from NatPest that was crippling me. Looking though my credit report, I see that it took them until August 2006 to default me! Now, as the…

'Compromised' card
I've had an M & S card for years, use it a lot and always pay it off if I can, no lingering debts. Yesterday I wanted some stuff for my new house so went online and ordered from one website, just over £1000 - no problem. Then went to another for electrical items, £1279 but couldn't checkout, kept getting 'error'. While I…

How to use 0% for purchases under £250/over £250 offer with different end dates?
So my MBNA card has a O% interest on purchases offer on purchases made before 28th February. For purchases under #3250 the 0% lasts until April, over £250 it lasts until June. So is it the case that the only way to access completely interest free balances until June I would have to only use the card for purchases over £250…

Barclaycard - dodgy website?
Just went to log into the Barclaycard Website, and it failed, twice. Thought it was weird, was putting my details in a third time and thinking maybe I'd changed the password and forgotten, when I noticed it was requesting a passcode of 6 digits. The last time I logged in, the passcode was 8 digits - has been for ages…

Will the fast stooze return?
(sorry this thread should be in the stooze area) Hello all. I have a question for your consideration. Will the fast stooze (money in high interests savings being shuffled around via 0% balance transfer deals) one day make a comeback? Sure at the moment most believe it's not really worth the effort for the return (given the…

I did this with who i banked with at the time - Nationwide. I've since got into stoozing &…
