Virgin Atlantic Amex - Any existing customer offers?
My 0% just ended and - at the same time - - they doubled my interest rate to almost 30%!!! I have now paid it off in full so it is empty. Should I keep hold of the card (and it's generous 10,000 limit) in hope that they will do another deal or just close it down? I called them up and the guy said there were no…

It was a 600 laptop and I'm going to have paid almost 900 when it's finished  I know I was stupid for not checking this before. If I pay it off early will they still charge me the future interest or…

My credit card has been cloned!
Had a phone call this afternoon from the HSBC Fraud Squad. They asked if I'd made a payment this morning for £1 to Charity Aid, I said no and they said my credit card had been cloned and they would cancel my card and issue a new one. I've tried to access my account online to see if any other unusual items are showing but…

late credit card payment fee
I've never been late for a payment before & naively didn't think about charges, so when my balance this month was 50p I decided to leave it & pay it off with next months payment. Now the credit card company have charged me £12. Is there anything I can do about it? It seems very disproportionate to me.

Halifax
Just called Halifax and asked them to decrease my APR, which they did without any hassle. Its gone from 19.9 to 17.9, still not brilliant but a move in the right direction. The other good thing is that I've only had the card for 9 months, and still within the 0% period that came with the card.

Playing MBNA's LifestyleProtect scheme
I've just had an interesting talk with MBNA regarding their LifestyleProtect. Purchase of a principal home Marriage or divorce Childbirth or adoption Graduation Enter…
