credit card interest

my credit card has just written and told me they are increasing my interest payments, i have no missed payments ever, can they do this?

yes, in the terms and conditions it will say so.

Happens to lots of us, just move card providers.....

What a stupid question, what did it say when you took the card out??????/// if you had bothered to read it you would see that it saud XX% typical variable. you then signed the terms which meant you agreed to the rate being vaariable! which means it can CHANGE! if you were a business man, woldnt u want to make as much money as u can! ifyou didnt want the ratesto change then u shud av taken a different card out. so accept you mistakes and learn. u aint got no leg to stand on.

Yes they can do it. You can also ask them to reduce it. They may say yes, they may so no, but you have nothing to lose.
