What a stupid question, what did it say when you took the card out??????/// if you had bothered to read it you would see that it saud XX% typical variable. you then signed the terms which meant you agreed to the rate being vaariable! which means it can CHANGE! if you were a business man, woldnt u want to make as much money as u can! ifyou didnt want the ratesto change then u shud av taken a different card out. so accept you mistakes and learn. u aint got no leg to stand on.

A rude and unnecessary reply to a new MSE member asking for advice.

Surely you can make your point without resorting to being insulting.

Yes they can do it. You can also ask them to reduce it. They may say yes, they may so no, but you have nothing to lose.
Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!
    Another 3% shaved off 10/12/08
    ANOTHER 4 % June 09:beer:

How rude are you! Absolutely unnecessary to reply like that, especially to a new member.
