They are offfering me 3% fee on a balance transfer then either 4.9% for the life of the card or 0% for 6 months It will prob take me about 18 month to clear he balance completely. How do you get a credit card company to lower your interest rate? When I phone up it seems to be a different department and they are not available 24 hours a day. They put it up readily enough but getting to someone to request a lower rate seems impossible.
