BOS Cutting credit limit
I know they have the right to do this but I was wondering if anyone else had experienced BOS cutting their credit limit. Mine was cut from £6200 to £2100 thats only £100 more than the balance. I had a couple of problems with a DCA recording somebody elses default on my credit files but I managed to have these removed.…

Egg Money's Dead. Sort of...
I got an e-mail from Egg yesterday announcing the demise of Egg Money: Goodbye 4% interest on positive balances. But instead of merging it with their Egg Card, which is a Visa card, they've announced a new product: Egg Money World Mastercard. The lovely 1% cashback stays, but there's no interest at all on positive balances…

intrest rates to high
ok so i have a credit car with hsbc my intrest rate is stupidly high i recieved a courtesy call from them last week the lady asked if i was happy with my account i said no as intrest rate wasnt good she said what is ur intrest rate i said i think it at 22.5 she said it will only be that high if you have taken cash out on…

Just rang HBOS to shut down my old credit card. They are offfering me 3% fee on a balance transfer then either 4.9% for the life of the card or 0% for 6 months It will prob take me about 18 month to clear he balance completely. What should I take? 0% and try and get 0% in 6 months time with my current Credit Card provider?…

Minimum payment by Direct Debit
Just had a weird conversation with my card company regarding paying the minimum amount each month by direct debit and would love to know if anyone else has experienced something similar..... I set up a D/Debit to pay the minimum amount each month so that i never missed a payment by accident and incur a late payment fee.…

Getting your interest rate lowered
How do you get a credit card company to lower your interest rate? When I phone up it seems to be a different department and they are not available 24 hours a day. They put it up readily enough but getting to someone to request a lower rate seems impossible.

Problem with balance transfer to clear overdraft
