Why are Virgin CC's good for Barclaycard customers.

Martin says in his article that you should go for it if you are an existing Barclaycard customer, so I did as I was looking for a 0% BT anyway. He doesn't explain why it's good for existing Barclaycard customers, can anyone shed any light?
