Egg are an online bank, you change your address via their web site.

    As for dealing with cheques
    Cheque
    • You should make your cheque payable to 'Egg, (Account Holder Name(s)), (Account Number)'. eg Egg, Mr Smith, 12345678 (draw a line through any unused space on the payee line so that no-one can add extra numbers or words).
    • Send your cheque to Customer Money Team, Egg, Point North, Waterfront West,
      Brierley Hill,
      DY5 1LU.
    • Cheques take seven to ten working days to clear into your account, and there may be a charge of £2 for each payment made in this way.
So no address on a letter(in theory you could send a cheque without a cover letter) should stop them being able to pay it into your account. Had they already transfered this to a debt collection agency??
