Credit Card Or Loan?
Hi, I am getting married next year, and to pay for this we are having to borrow around 10 grand. Does anyone have any ideas about which is the cheapest way to borrow money, I.E a 15 month interest free credit card, or a personel loan? Any thoughts would be appreciated! Cheers Russell

HSBC Credit Card Charges
Is it standard practise for a bank to charge for protecting your card from theft these days. I have always been aware of protection of payment charges but I noticed on a hsbc 0% purchase card they are separately charging for theft or misuse of the card. Am I wrong in thinking this used to be part and parcel of the card…

"Minimum Finance Charge" on empty Egg Card?
I have had £0 on my Egg Card since the middle of October. On checking my Egg accounts through the Egg Money Manager I noticed that I have 50p debit on my Egg Card. On closer inspection it's listed as a "Minimum Finance Charge". My question is: Do they charge this every month even when there is no debt on the card? If so…

Getting money out of an Egg
I opened a new Egg account last week, with the aim of using it towards my stooze fund. I note most people say to use egg as a mule, to shift positive balances (BT's from another card) to your current/savings account. As egg have generously given me a £11500 limit, it seems a waste to not be able to use this; especially as…

Natwest Credit Card disappears from Online Banking & Experian!!
I was checking my Natwest Online Banking, and I noticed that my Credit Card disappeared from the accounts overview. Barclaycard - they've gone nuts!!
I just have to share this with someone... Barclaycard wrote to me to inform me that they have reduced my credit limit by over 90% because of their ongoing committment to debt prevention during an account review. I didn't have a problem with that at all because i haven't used them for a BT since opening the card. I wrote to…
