Capitol 1 Balance Transfers

in Credit cards
i have a Capitol 1 credit card which i took out in Nov 06 and transferred £2K from another card - this is due for repayment in Jan 08. Can I re-pay this amount and then transfer another credit card to it or is it better to apply for another card with a longer peiod and transfer the balance to that?
