I'm currently over in the USA working for a few months, but will be returning to the UK in just under three week's time. Would be good…

This is my first post, and I'm probably asking stupid questions, but: I need to buy about £250 worth of things for a business venture, but don't have it at the moment- I need to speculate first. I'd like to take out a 0% card (ideally the sky one) however I just wanted to double check I hadn't misunderstood- is it really a…

MBNA / Virgin
Two questions: The terms on virgin and mbna look identical - are they the same ? Most posts seem to talk about virgin rather than mbna - wondered if the virgin version had any advantages. When applying online, do you get approved there and then or have to wait? My approval to egg was immediate and think that's a lot better…

I have just had a mail shot from BC (my current balance is £0) that if I do a balance transfer before the beginning of March 06 I can have 3.9% interest until August 2007. It does not state that there is a transfer fee. Does anyone know if there is any catch with this offer (apart from don't spend on the card). The letter…

Have looked for a thread on this but can't find one so hope I'm not repeating anything. Has anybody looked at the new American E Nectar card? When used with your nectar loyalty card you get 4 points on every pound spent. As I do most my shopping at Sainsbury's I thought this seemed quite good. Any thoughts?

0% for 3 months, is it worth it ?
I often get offers from credit cards of 0% for three or four months by using a credit card cheque, MONUMENT often do this, but others do too. The problem is that most charge a fee of up 2.5% when you take up the offer ! Well doesn`t this make the whole idea a waste of time ? I mean a one time fee of 2.5% over a 3 month…
