in Credit cards
Two questions:
The terms on virgin and mbna look identical - are they the same ? Most posts seem to talk about virgin rather than mbna - wondered if the virgin version had any advantages.
When applying online, do you get approved there and then or have to wait? My approval to egg was immediate and think that's a lot better than waiting "while we consider your application"!!

Virgin
balance transfer – a payment you ask us to make to another organisation which pays off or reduces the amount that you owe them.
MBNA
balance transfer – a payment you ask us to make from your account to another financial organisation which is not a money transfer and which pays off or reduces the amount that is owed to them.
If this is the right bit, does that mean virgin does SBTs and MBNA doesn't?0 -

It's been like this since last Autumn (if memory serves), although I suspect it'll only be a matter of time before they all standardise on one set of 'MBNA' T&C's.0
