0% Credit card- first post, please be gentle!

This is my first post, and I'm probably asking stupid questions, but:
I need to buy about £250 worth of things for a business venture, but don't have it at the moment- I need to speculate first.
I'd like to take out a 0% card (ideally the sky one) however I just wanted to double check I hadn't misunderstood- is it really a 0% debt? Are there extra charges or penalties I've not realised (obviously each card has its own t&c, but in general, does it do what it says on the tin?).
I'd hate to buy things on the card and then discover I'd done something stupid!
Feedback very welcome!
Sally

Yes, 0% on purchases for 12 months. Just don't withdraw cash, don't go over limit and make minimum payments on time - set up a DD and be very carefull with the first payment.
  • Just reading the t&c and just wondering whether if I pay the minimum each month will I be charged? Sorry, a bit confused and first time I've tried to do credit debt...normally pay off in full each month.
  • Almost sounds too good to be true- thanks!
